Permanent vision correction for high myopia.

Overview

ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) is a phakic intraocular lens placed between the iris and natural lens to correct high myopia (-3D to -20D), hyperopia, and astigmatism. It is the preferred solution for patients who are not eligible for LASIK due to high prescription or thin corneas.

Key Benefits

Corrects prescriptions up to -20D

No corneal tissue removal

UV-protective lens material

Reversible if needed

Excellent for thin corneas ineligible for LASIK

Sharp, high-contrast vision

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ICL painful?

No. The procedure is done under topical anaesthesia and is typically painless. Some patients report mild sensitivity for a few hours post-procedure.

Can the ICL be removed?
